Anthony Hilton was Managing Director and then City Editor of the Evening Standard and now serves as the paper’s Senior Commentator.  Joining Fleet Street as a trainee on the Guardian, Anthony served in New York as Business Correspondent for the Sunday Times and City Editor of The Times before joining the Standard.  He has also worked for The Observer, The Daily Mail, The Independent, and The Sunday Express.  An author, broadcaster, lecturer, Wincott Financial Journalist of the Year, and winner of the World Economic Forum’s most prestigious press ‘Decade of Excellence’ award, Anthony has also served as a non-executive Director of insurance and publishing companies.
