The risk of cyber-attacks has become greater as our lives, businesses, infrastructure and governments transition into the digital arena. Mounting a cyber-attack is cheaper and easier than ever before, while data is more valuable. Still, many security technologies and processes are out-dated and manual.

It isn’t just technology that’s fallen behind. Creating awareness and adopting a prevention mind-set at the executive level is the first step in addressing this security gap.

We’d like to invite you and your colleagues to The Shard on Tuesday 24th January 2017 from 6.30pm for an interactive panel discussion with industry experts and 100 of your peers, hosted by Palo Alto Networks and Forbes. Panellists include:

  • Lee Barney, Head of Information Security at Marks & Spencer UK, who has helped the board understand cyber risk, and weighing it against business imperatives

  • Gavin Colman, Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, who will discuss how to hire the next generation CISO

  • Wendel Verbeek, Partner at Brunswick Group, who will discuss how to preserve a company's reputation after a cyber breach

We’ll also be giving attendeesa complimentary copy of the book, “Navigating the Digital Age: The Definitive Cybersecurity Guide for Directors and Officers”.

Contributors to the book include the former Director of GCHQ, the EMEA CSO of Palo Alto Networks, NATO Chief of Cyber Security,Barclays Group CSO, BTand Worldpay Group Chairman,UK Trade & Investment Cyber Ambassador… and others.
